Dr. Shannon Patterson
Dr. Patterson graduated cum laude from University of Mississippi Medical Center School of Dentistry in 1996 after receiving his undergrad degree from Ole Miss. While at Ole Miss, Dr. Patterson also served as an officer in the United States Air Force serving our country. Following graduation from UMC School of Dentistry, he completed an advanced residency program allowing him to gain experience and knowledge in the field. Dr. Patterson has been practicing in Brookhaven since 1999 and has continued to educate himself and his staff on the latest in dental care, ensuring that his patients receive the most comprehensive and advanced treatments. In 2005, Dr. Patterson earned his fellowship from the Academy of General Dentistry which puts him in a very elite group of dentists. Only 6% in the nation have this affiliation.

Chelsey Anderson - Front Desk
Hi, my name is Chelsey Anderson. I have been working in the dental field since 2010, gaining experience as both a dental assistant and a receptionist. Over the years I have developed an understanding of patient care and office operations. I truly enjoy being a part of a team that helps people feel comfortable, cared for, and we strive to create a welcoming environment for every patient. Outside of work I am married to a hard-working husband and together we are raising two active boys! Balancing work life and family life keeps me on my toes, but I would not have it any other way! I am grateful for my career and my home life!

DeeDee Lofton - Chairside
DeeDee Lofton has 29 years of experience in the dental field. She brings a wealth of knowledge, skills, and compassion to every patient she serves. Her happy and friendly demeanor helps put even the most nervous patient at ease. Her dedication to detail ensures top quality care from start to finish.
DeeDee is the proud mother to two great children and two wonderful grandbabies. Whether she is assisting chairside or greeting patients with a smile, DeeDee's genuine care and dedication shines through all she does. She is proficient in team work.
Chrystal Coghlan - Chairside
My name is Chrystal Coghlan. I am a dedicated and experienced dental assistant with over 26 years in the dental field. I am known for my compassionate approach and attention to detail. I am committed to creating a comfortable and supporting environment for every patient. My knowledge of clinical procedures, skills, and a strong work ethic makes me a trusted part of any dental care team. Outside of work I value quality time with my family, staying active and continually learning about advances in dental care and patient wellness.
Carly Rhoads - Chairside
My name is Carly Rhoads. I was born and raised right here in Brookhaven, Ms. I graduated high school from Brookhaven Academy and furthered my education at Copiah Lincoln Community College. I enjoy traveling and spending time with loved ones, especially my two nephews. I have worked in the dental field for ten years. My favorite thing about dentistry is helping others and getting to experience those first time smiles, and watching a persons confidence soar. It is truly a blessing to be able to do what you love right here in your hometown!
April Poole - Hygenist
April Poole is a dedicated Dental Hygienist at Brookhaven Dental Center, where she has been delivering compassionate, top-quality care for over 20 years. Known for her gentle touch and patient- centered approach, April is passionate about helping patients feel comfortable and confident in their oral health.
Outside the office, April is married to her husband, Scott Poole, and is a proud mom of four active kids who keep her busy with their sports schedules. Whether she's cheering on the sidelines or brightening smiles in the chair, April brings energy, care, and commitment to everything she does.
Mildred Channell - Hygenist
Mildred Channell is a dedicated dental hygienist with more than 29 years of experience delivering compassionate, high-quality care and promoting oral health education for patients of all ages. For the past 25 years, she has been a valued member of the Brookhaven Dental Center team, where she has built lasting relationships with both patients and colleagues.
Mildred is married to Rob Channell, and together they have two sons: Brian, who is married to Katie with sons JB and William Baker; and Logan, who is married to Savanna. Outside of her professional life, Mildred treasures time spent with family and friends, and she enjoys traveling with Rob and their beloved cockapoo, Mocha.
Madie Smith - Dental Assistant
I joined Brookhaven Dental Center in January 2025 as a dental assistant. I graduated high school in 2023, earned my Associate of Arts degree from Copiah-Lincoln Community College in June 2023, and completed the Accelerated Academy program in November 2024. I've been working as a dental assistant for eight months, and I love helping patients feel comfortable and cared for during their visits. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my loved ones, shopping, and going to the gym.
